Enterprise UXR: Research Impact

All job functions within a company need to show how they provide value to the business. The UX research function is no different. There are many factors to consider when measuring the impact of UX research within an organization. The ServiceNow UX Research & Insights (UXRI) team has spent a considerable amount of time thinking about this and have aligned on a definition internally.

 

We would love to discuss this and learn from external UX Research experts about how they define ‘research impact’. Additionally, many UX research teams struggle to measure their impact consistently and objectively. It’s often a tedious manual process. The ServiceNow UXRI has also addressed this challenge by designing a system to automatically measure our impact using our own tools. We are looking forward to sharing this, and also learning how research impact is measured in other organizations.
